Some links I have come across, but nothing will be easy to do
- open-ethernet/mlag: brings in a number of other libraries, and needs a controller to sync states
- MLAG on Linux - lessons learned, from the folks at Cumulus Networks. I downloaded their Cumulus VX to see about extracting the MLAG tools, but their level of integration is... extensive, and therefore hard to extract into something self contained. A paper to go along with the presentation. And a slide show which goes into excellent detail about how packets transition an MLAG solution, and how to stop duplication.
